OUR PRODUCTS ARE HEAVY
Please take care when lifting and always use at least 2 people when unboxing and moving your teddy mattress
This is only our recommendation and based on most studies on when is the best and most suitable time for your child to move into their "big kid" bed.
Your child's graduation from cot to bed is a milestone in both your life and theirs.
Most children move from a cot to a bed between the ages of 18-months and 3½ years old.
There is no set age but its probably safest to wait until they at least 2 years old.
We recommend waiting 48 hours before sleeping on your teddy mattress to allow it to fully expand and settle after being compressed for shipping.
During this time, you might notice a slight odor, a natural process called off-gassing. This is simply the release of harmless particles that were trapped during manufacturing and packaging.
Rest assured, our foams are CertiPUR-US® certified, meaning they are made without harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, heavy metals, or phthalates and meet strict standards for emissions, content, and durability. The off-gassing odor is temporary and will dissipate completely within 3-7 days.
For the best experience, place the mattress in a well-ventilated room while it expands. After that, you can enjoy your teddy mattress worry-free!
Updated 120-Night Sleep Trial Policy
We’re committed to helping you find the perfect mattress for your best night’s sleep, which is why we offer a 120-night sleep trial. However, to ensure this policy remains sustainable and fair for all customers, we’ve recently introduced a $90 return fee.
This fee helps discourage misuse of the trial, such as purchasing a mattress for temporary use and returning it afterward. Our goal is to maintain a fair system that benefits those genuinely looking for a long-term sleep solution.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our customer service team.
Unfortunately not, our 120-night sleep trial only applies to our idream, idream Elite and idream Hybrid mattresses.
What you’re noticing is called off-gassing, a slight chemical like odor that sometimes comes with brand-new mattresses, especially foam ones.
It’s completely normal and will fade in a few days as the mattress airs out. Rest assured, our foams are CertiPUR-US certified, meaning they’ve been tested by an independent lab to meet strict criteria for content and indoor emissions. They emit less than 0.5 parts per million of VOCs, which is perfectly safe for indoor air quality.
So, just give it a couple of days, and soon you’ll be sleeping peacefully with no extra smells - just sweet dreams!"

This odor is completely harmless and typically dissipates within a few hours to a couple of days.
To minimize this, we recommend unboxing your
mattress in a well-ventilated area and giving it time to air out before sleeping on it.
Great question, our
teddy mattresses are designed with 20mm of Natural Latex and 50mm of gel infused
memory foam.
Our founder has
over 20 years’ experience in mattress design and production, and through his
experience designed the teddy mattress.
This ratio (20mm Latex / 50mm Memory foam)
allows for the faster bounce back of latex when pressure is applied, whilst allowing for the slower body contouring and moulding to the shape of your body
of the memory foam, thus offering “the best of both worlds” in comfort.
Full foam mattresses are better suited for slat bed bases.
We recommend the idream, teddy junior and junior LUX for your slat bed base.
If you really want a pocket spring mattress like our idream Hybrid. We would recommend you place a thin sheet of timber board on top of the slat bed base, this is to prevent the individually encased coils of the pocket spring from dropping between the slat base gaps over time.
Yes, all our mattresses are compatible with any flat supportive surface. This includes all slat, box spring and adjustable bases.
Through our partnership with the Seaqual Initiative we use material created from plastic collected from the ocean to spin into the yarn used in our products!
We think it's pretty awesome and this upcycling prevents unnecessary waste heading to landfill by instead diverting it back into high-quality, usable materials.
All foams used teddy mattresses are REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) compliant. This certificatioin deals with the regulations that were created to improve the environment and protect human health.
REACH addresses the risks associated with chemicals and promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances.
Thank you for your support through one of our amazing retail partners.
Unfortunately the 120-Night Sleep Trial is for purchases through our online store only and does NOT apply to purchases made through resellers, as retailers have their own instore policies which are followed.
The idream Hybrid mattress combines the cushioning of foam layers with the bounce of innersprings, where the idream is a foam mattress with a more firmer feel.
The idream Hybrid pocket-spring coils also allow for more airflow, making hybrid mattress more breathable than a standard foam mattress. Because air moves throughout the mattress, hybrid mattresses shouldn't trap as much heat as foam mattresses.
