Designed especially for kids, the teddy junior LUX was created to instil a sense of confidence in your child on their journey to sleeping independently. From bed wetting accidents to weight changing as they get bigger, the machine washable cover and double sided sleep surface not only support better sleep, but also a more empowered and confident child.

Washing & Care Instructions
Top White Knitted Fabric Panel (Removable Part)
  • Machine Washable: The top panel can be easily removed and washed in a washing machine.
  • Temperature: Wash on a gentle cycle at 40°C (104°F) to preserve the fabric’s quality.
Side and Bottom Panels
  • Spot Cleaning Only: These sections are not machine washable. Use a damp cloth with mild detergent to clean any stains. Avoid soaking.
Drying Instructions
  • Air Dry Only: Do not use a tumble dryer. Allow the cover to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area before placing it back on the mattress.
Care Tips
  • Frequency: Wash the top panel no more than once every 4–6 months.
  • Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals to protect the fabric.
Waterproof Inner Cover
  • Do Not Remove and Wash the waterproof inner cover. This is to be spot cleaned with a mild detergent and air dried.

Made from Bamboo Charcoal, a type of activated carbon that is developed from bamboo, a fast-growing, sustainable plant that has been infused into teddy’s Memory Foam, creating the perfect blend of Nature and Sleep Science.

NATURFLEX™ helps eliminate odours, absorbs excess moisture, regulate temperature, and contours to your child’s body to offer the best comfort and support.

This innovative new foam is CertiPUR-US® program registered, making sure that your mattress is approved against any harmful substances.

ZoneScape™

ZoneScape™ 5 Zone and Airflow Foam Technology have been infused into the teddy junior Lux.

Teddy’s 5 Zone Technology is designed for your body from head to toe, targeting support to specific parts of the body and relieving pressure from the head, shoulders, hips, legs, and feet.

The different zones of support can help to align the spine and promote proper posture while sleeping and reduce motion transfer, thus reducing sleep disturbance so that on the nights that you fall asleep with your child and get out of bed, they will barely feel a thing!

In addition, the airflow channels help with circulating air through the mattress which regulates your child’s temperature and keeps them cooler so they can sleep soundly throughout the night.

Moreover, this CertiPUR-US® program and REACH Certified foam make sure your child’s mattress is approved and tested against any harmful substance to both people and the environment.

Machine Washable Outer Cover

Kids will be kids, the teddy junior knitted top fabric is designed to protect when those "whoopsy" moments happen, just toss it in for an easy machine wash.

Made from 2nd Life fabric, your teddy junior also helps protect the planet by using upcycled plastics. This fabric is also OKEO-TEX Standard 100 certified meaning teddy junior fabrics have been tested and proven free of any harmful substances.

Waterproof Inner Cover

Our kids' mattress cover, crafted with advanced Evolon® microfilament fabric, offers superior protection by preventing most nighttime "oopsies" and spills from reaching the mattress.

Designed to be water-resistant and breathable, it keeps your child comfortable while adding a reliable barrier against most accidents. It's the perfect solution for minimizing messes and extending the life of your mattress.

Additionally, the fabrics dense microfilament structure provides an effective Anti-Mite shield, helping to reduce allergens and promote a healthier sleep environment.

Unfortunately, the inner waterproof cover is not designed to be removed and fully washed but rather to be wiped down with a damp cloth.

FAQs

Does the 120 night sleep trial apply to teddy Junior?

Unfortunately not, our 120-night sleep trial only applies to our idream and idream Hybrid mattresses.

Is the Inner-cover 100% Waterproof?

No, our waterproof inner-cover is not 100% waterproof, but
it is designed to help prevent most wetness, especially from heavy bed-wetting.
It provides effective protection for the mattress foams, helping to keep them
dry and in good condition.

We do recommend an additional mattress protectors for kids who are heavy bed-wetter’s.

When should my child graduate from Cot to Bed?

Your child's graduation from cot to bed is a milestone in both your life and theirs.

Most children move from a cot to a bed between the ages of 2 and 3½ years old.

There is no set age but its probably safest to wait until they at least 2 years old.

Do I need a mattress protector with my teddy junior?

The more protection the better, especially if your child is still in a phase of bed wetting often. Once your child's sleep confidence increases and their bed wetting is less frequent then you can remove the mattress protector.

Does the teddy junior fit on a slat bed base?

Yes, the idream and teddy junior mattresses are perfect for a slatted bed base.

We do not recommend the idream Hybrid as the pocket springs can shift between the gaps on a slatted base.

How often can I wash the outer cover?

Excessive washing will cause damage to the fabrics. We recommend a cold wash of the outer cover no more than once every 3 months.

If your child is struggling with bed wetting, we do recommend the use of a mattress protector and the purchase of an additional outer cover.

What does REACH certified mean?

All foams used teddy mattresses are REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) compliant. This certificatioin deals with the regulations that were created to improve the environment and protect human health.

REACH addresses the risks associated with chemicals and promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances.

Can I use the mattress on another bed base?

Yes, all our mattresses are compatible with any flat supportive surface. This includes all slat, box spring and adjustable bases.

Is shipping free? Even for rural addresses?

How sustainable is the mattress really?

Through our partnership with the Seaqual Initiative we use material created from plastic collected from the ocean to spin into the yarn used in our products!

We think it's pretty awesome and this upcycling prevents unnecessary waste heading to landfill by instead diverting it back into high-quality, usable materials.

What is the difference between a Hybrid or Foam Mattress?

Hybrid mattresses combine the cushion of foam layers with the bounce of innersprings, where foam mattresses have a more firmer feel.

The coils of a pocket-spring also allow for more airflow, making hybrid mattresses more breathable than foam mattresses. Because air moves throughout the mattress, hybrid mattresses shouldn't trap as much heat as foam mattresses.

How does the 120 Night Sleep trial work?
